PRACTICAL COMPLETION IN LIVERPOOL
PHASE TWO OF LIVERPOOL CBD PROJECT

Number Five St Paul's Square, Liverpool
C O N T I N U E D
Liverpool's new central business district scheme successfully completed its second phase in April with the reaching of practical completion by the
RHWL-designed office building, Number 5 St Paul's Square.
The eight-storey building provides 120,000 sq feet of office accommodation, more than 50% of which has been pre-let.
The design of Number Five is a contextual response to a stringent environmental brief. Bore hole and heat pumps generate more than 10% of the buildings energy needs, and careful envelope design further reduces energy consumption by 25% over buildings of a similar nature.
The entrance and reception area of the building are defined by a deconstructed glass canopy and bridge, which provide a counterpoint to the building's orthogonal architecture, creating strong focal points.
The popularity of Number Five with potential tenants adds to the success of our already-completed project, Number One St Paul's Square. This building is now home to Hill Dickinson Solicitors and was recently short-listed for BCO Work Place and RICS Commercial Office of the year awards.
