A major scheme on a rural site north of Frankfurt, won in competition against five local practices. Designed as the European headquarters of a major US investment fund management company, the project links a 19th Century villa with a new three storey office development.
Phase one, the glass and steel office complex, was completed in November 2003. The villa was restored in phase two and now acts as the front door to the whole scheme. A pedestrian link set into the contours of the landscape provides an umbilical cord between the two.
